Our story

we're Lauren and Adelaide

As moms of littles, we are extremely passionate about our children’s learning and development. Adelaide and I have had countless conversations regarding the hopes and dreams we have for our children. Sharing thoughts and ideas about environments we want them to experience and explore. We then took a look around Adelaide’s farm and suddenly a lightbulb went off. We realized we had a magical location, in the heart of the Hudson Valley, that embodied everything we could ever imagine for our children. As an educator, I know that learning through interacting with other children is integral to children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and moral development. We wanted a space for our children to grow, interact with other children, and explore the world around them. The farm provides just that! As more conversations were had, ideas started flowing, and Homegrown Littles was born.

Discover, Play, and Grow TogetheR

Creating an outdoor learning space that provides children with enriching experiences that foster their curiosity, creativity, and love for nature. Learning in nature fosters a deep connection and appreciation for the environment. The farm is the perfect space for just this. We want you and your family to escape to the farm, interact with our animals, create memories with your children, and explore the world around you. We are here to provide hands-on activities and learning experiences for you and your children, while also letting nature be your teacher.

At Homegrown Littles, our mission is to cultivate a love and understanding of nature from the very start. Through engaging and hand-on activities, we aim to nurture curiosity, appreciation, and a sense of wonder in our youngest learners. We aim to create an environment where children can explore the natural world, develop respect for animals and plants, and build meaningful connections with the world around them.
